With spring right around the corner, Realtor.com has analyzed the data to let you know the best time to list your home. Data shows that the week of April 16^th will have the ideal balance of housing market conditions that will favor sellers - -  more so than any other week of the year.

Now that the perfect time to list your home nearing, if you’re interested in selling your home, you will want to get it ready first. Below are some suggestions of the top updates you can do to your home, before you list, to ensure you receive top dollar for your investment. These suggestions include:

·         Updating your landscaping – which could simply be getting mulch 

·         Touching-up paint

·         Paint interiors

·         Paint or repair exterior areas of your home

Once you have completed the updates to your home you should consider having it staged. According to the National Association of Realtors, 82% of buyers’ agents said that it was easier to visualize the property as a future home when staged.
